Dr. James MacLean’s first job at 15 years old was in a veterinary hospital. He has worked in the kennel, reception, and as a veterinary emergency technician prior to getting into Veterinary School at Virginia Tech. He graduated in 1994. He went back to school after 17 years as a veterinarian to get an MBA from Georgetown University.
He first came to Charleston while dating his wife almost 25 years ago and finally moved his family here full time. Dr. MacLean and his wife Carin have 4 children and live in Mount Pleasant with a young lab puppy named Duck and a 22 year old cat named Weewee. He loves boating, fishing, shooting and eating out in Charleston.
